In an article written for Stonewall, Riley explains that, “Since 2008, lesbians like me have been embracing the day of 26 th April – Lesbian Visibility Day. It was founded by Linda Riley, the Publisher and CEO of Diva Magazine. Lesbian Visibility Week runs this year from Monday 25 th April to Sunday 1 st May. Some non-binary people may also identify with this term Lesbian - Refers to a woman who has a romantic and/or sexual orientation towards women.
